Wayne J. Pover started in the financial services industry after graduating from the University of Iowa in 1988. He worked for a local Certified Public Accounting firm for ten (10) years. In 1991 he became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Then in 1998, he started his own independent financial planning practice. He is currently a Wealth Advisor with Exemplar Financial Network through LPL Financial.
Wayne concentrates his practice in the areas of investment, children education funding, retirement, tax and estate planning.
Wayne sits on the Board of Directors of Heart and Soul, a charity fundraising organization, which provides funds for local charities. He is also one of the founding members. Wayne resides in Elgin with his family including his two boys, Jimmy and Zach.
